Passing the old Bukit Timah Railway Station is a quick throwback to a bygone era when train trips into Malaysia was a daily commute for some. And walking on the truss bridge feels like a visit to a period film set! The steel structure is a sight to behold, and very well-maintained. Going southwards towards Tanjong Pagar, you would get into spots where it’s all nature, which feels like you’ve been transported into the jungles outside of urban Singapore.
