Sights and sounds at Orchard Road

If you are in Singapore for a holiday, one of the must-visit places is the renowned shopping streets of Orchard Road! The entire stretch is basically rows of shopping malls to satisfy your need for retail therapy. But besides the malls and their architectural facades, there are also many interesting activities and even performances that make your city walk more happening. At certain times of the day, you may find buskers putting on a show for passers-by. I have seen acts performed by magicians, musicians, story-tellers and even Buddhist monks! You will also find little mobile stalls that sell traditional ice cream and they always have very long queues.
