National Monument - Sun Yat Sen Memorial Hall

#wheretogo On a fine sunny day in Singapore, I had the opportunity to visit a national monument known as the Sun Yat Sen Nanyang Memorial Hall. This iconic landmark and villa pays tribute to Dr. Sun Yat Sen, a prominent figure in Chinese history, often referred to as the "Father of Modern China." The museum showcases his vital role in the establishment of the Republic of China and the role that many in Singapore played in furthering the anti monarchist cause. In this villa, Dr. Sun Yat Sen personally raised funds and strategised critical plans to overthrow the last imperial dynasty in China, making it a must see for visitors and history buffs to Singapore.
