Homeground Coffee Roasters Singapore

#singaporetrip Homeground is a specialty coffee roaster that focuses on specialty beans and coffee-related events. They used to be a cafe (at a different location) which served food, but they have now relocated to an industrial complex near Tai Seng and service is now reduced to a purely coffee takeaway service (no food). You can however sit at their cozy lounge to finish your coffee if you wish. We went on a quiet morning and were greeted by Ho Ming, who was extremely kind and hospitable. He took a genuine interest in what we liked and gave us recommendations. We got ourselves an iced white and flat white which were both really good. When we shared that we haven't really found filter coffee we liked, Ho Ming brewed us a delicious cup of filter based on our amateur description of our taste preferences. He was also really generous in sharing his experience and we learnt a lot. We came for a cup of coffee but left with a glimpse of the generosity and enthusiasm reflective of the coffee culture in Singapore! #cafe #trip
