It’s one of those humble, old-school hawker stalls that’s always bustling, especially with elder folks, aunties, and uncles who know where to find the best traditional bakes. They have such a wide variety—fluffy traditional toasts, old-school butter cakes, kuehs, and even unique modern finds like Orh Nee buns, baby Japanese pumpkin buns, and colorful rainbow cakes. And let’s not forget their crazy creations, like the giant birthday cake shaped like a hamburger! What we love most about Roti is how everything is handmade, and you can really taste the difference. The breads and pastries are soft, fresh, and most importantly, generously filled—unlike some places where you take a bite and wonder where the filling went. With so many bakeries around Clementi Town Centre (easily more than five), it’s impressive how Roti still stands out. We often drop by to grab simple toasts for the next day’s breakfast or pick up some kueh for the elders at home.
