Peranakan Precious Peony

Event - Precious Peony 2022 Where - Flower Dome | Gardens by the Bay Period - 9 Apr till 8 May 2022 (extended!) A friend’s love for Peranakan culture got us (buddies) together to join her for this event. But I joined her because I like peonies. 😛 The event is supported by various museums and cultural organisations in promoting the Peranakan culture. Went on a weekday and hence there’s lesser visitors. This time I saw many of our senior citizens very much into photography. I’m awed seeing their professional photography devices and watching them sussing out the right angle, right lighting just to catch the right moments. For me, I’m snapping pictures everywhere so long it’s insta-worthy! This event is also a good way to educate both grown-ups and children of the Peranakan culture which is very unique to only Singapore and Malaysia.
