Many people head to main area of either gardens by the bay, satay by the bay or marina Barrage. There is an area located right across the Barrage called Gardens By The Bay(Bay East), this is a spot normally popular amongst runners or cyclists due to its many unshadded area in the park where it tends to get really hot even in the morning. But this is a spot to visit and not to be miss as it overlooks the water of singapore's straits. One portion of the park located on the right after you cross the Barrage bridge is newly build. With many beautiful spots also overlooking the marina bay sands building and even the singapore flyer.
