As deepavali is just right round the corner, the Indian community in singapore is gearing up for the event to celebrate this once a year thing that happens, they call this the celebration of lights which is celebrated for 5 days in India but a day in singapore. There is a pasar malam stall dedicated to this deepavali event that is on going until the festival, you will be able to find many colourful clothings like Saris that is made of silk or floral printed or hand sewn.
