Pingjiang Road – Green Canal

#traveldiaries Pingjiang Road is a quaint street located right next to the Humble Administrator's Garden. It’s well-known for its serene green-water canal, with boats gliding along, offering a glimpse into the most authentic Jiangnan atmosphere. Here, you'll find old-style houses, narrow canals, stone bridges, and boats passing by, creating a beautiful, timeless scene. The road is free to enter and open all day. I visited on a rainy day, which only heightened the nostalgic Jiangnan feel. Be sure to take a boat ride when you visit—it's one of the most delightful experiences I’ve had in Suzhou.
