A renowned classical Chinese garden in Suzhou

Getting There - 338 Liuyuan Road, Gusu District, Suzhou This is a classical 16th century Chinese garden featuring rock, water and pavilion. It’s smaller than Humble Administrator’s Garden but due to its significance in Chinese culture, it’s considered as the Classical Gardens of Suzhou. I recommend a visit to this and Humble Administrator’s Garden to have a more complete understanding of Chinese garden and design. This garden features more stone mountains and a lot of bamboo to add the softness in constrast to its Stone mountains. There are a lot of bonsais too. The garden is divided into four distinctly themed sections; East, Central, West, and North. So it’s quite easy to navigate around. #suzhou
