Taipei 101 and Surrounding

A visit to Taipei would not be complete without a visit to Taipei 101. As it soars above the city, Taipei 101 is hard to miss from anywhere in the city. Seeing it up close, it is even more majestic and inspiring. The surrounding area is the glitzy and ultra modern Xinyi district where high end malls and international food brands galore. Look closer and you’ll find more interesting things like the cherry blossom I saw at this random office building. Near 101 is also a former dependent village that has been conserved and is now a tourist attraction and sells creative goods and has a couple of cafes. The juxtaposition between the past and the present cannot be greater than here. A must visit! #taipei #tripblazers
