The Postal Museum was established on December 1, 1965, and officially opened to the public on March 20 of the following year. Initially, it was set up by slightly renovating the old office building of the former Post Office in Xindian. Due to its remote location, small size, and the planned road running through it, the museum's development was greatly restricted. To meet the needs of cultural construction and postal service development, a 10-story building was constructed in Nanhai Academy, Taipei, and it was completed and opened in 1984. The Postal Museum looks even more antique and charming when photographed at night, but it is only open until 5 PM. The admission fee is only 30 NT dollars, which includes a postcard with a postmark. You can visit from the second to the sixth floor, and it will be dark by the time you finish.
