Tham Sawan Khuha Temple

Known as Wat Tham (Temple Cave) and also Monkey Cave Temple. It is an important ancient temple of Phang Nga Province, Village 2, Krasom, Takua Thung. It serves as a functioning and revered place of worship for local Buddhists and also as a tourist destination. The temple is located within a mountain with many large and small caves lined up next to each other. Each cave has different names such ad Tham Yai, Tham Chaeng, Tham Dam, Tham Kaew, etc. The highlight of this temple and the subject of worship for religious pilgrims and Buddhist monks is the spectacular 15-metres reclining gold Buddha. There is also the monogram of thr King and several royal families inside the cave. There are many monkeys outside and anyone can feed them.
