The Binhai Library is quite nice, as soon as you enter, you're at the popular check-in spot. The photo-taking area and the reading area are completely separate. From the second floor, take the elevator to floors 3-5 where there are many reading rooms, study rooms, etc., which are not affected by the noise of people checking in. The area division and design are quite reasonable. The study rooms are not crowded, and seats are readily available. You can borrow books with your ID card, which is very convenient, and you generally don't need to make a reservation. A simple security check is all that's needed, and the experience is quite good. Many children come to this cultural center on weekends. The library, science museum, art museum, and many training classes and dining options are all inside, offering a one-stop solution that is extremely convenient.
