Tokyo Free Travel Day 2
#TokyoTravel #TokyoTravel #Tokyo #Asakusa #Asakusa Food #Asakusa Temple #Imado Shrine #Tokyo Tower #Zōjoji Temple
Because I don’t like crowds, I got up early to take photos around Tokyo Tower, and then went to Asakusa. After that, I walked along the Sumida River, admiring the Tokyo Skytree and the Asahi Beer Cloud, and walked to Imado Shrine. I will take a lot of subways today. , so there is a one-day subway ticket.
Tokyo Tower is the most representative landmark in Tokyo. If you don’t want to go up to the top of Tokyo Tower, you can take photos around it and Tokyo Tower. It is recommended that if you want to take a good photo and don’t want to be crowded, you can go out early and take the subway station Akabanebashi Station. Then the photo tour started.
1. The first point is when you come out of the Akabanebashi Exit of the Subway Akabanebashi Station, you will see the Tokyo Tower at the intersection, and you can also take photos with the road signs.
2. The second point is the Tokyo Tower underground parking lot. I arrived at about 8 o'clock and there was only one group of people taking pictures in front of it. We even helped each other take pictures.
3. The third point is Zojoji Temple. You can take photos of Zojoji Temple and Tokyo Tower together.
Next, I arrived in Asakusa at about nine o'clock, and took the subway to Asakusa Station. I didn't expect that there were so many people there just after nine o'clock. Everyone took pictures in front of Asakusa Kaminarimon Gate. After taking pictures, they started to walk into the shopping street, with many shops on both sides. They sell food, and I ate Asakusa croquettes, dango, and Kagetsudo porridge bread. After passing through the shopping street, you will arrive at Sensoji Temple. You can also invest JPY100 to draw a lottery. I am so happy when I get lucky. It is said that Sensoji Temple's lottery is very effective. 30% are serious disasters😅.
You can go to the Asakusa Culture and Tourism Center opposite, go up to the eighth floor and you can see the Skytree. Go down the stairs next to the outdoors and look in the direction of Sensoji Temple, and you will see a super spectacular person.
「FUGLEN ASAKUSA」
This is a Norwegian coffee shop. Because I arrived in Asakusa too early, many of the shops I wanted to eat in were not open yet. I am also used to drinking a cup of coffee after getting up, so I came here to sit and order a cup of daily coffee.
"Asakusa Croquette"
The croquette is made of Kanagawa's 100-selected specialty Takazata dolphin, mixed with Kuroge Wagyu beef. The outer layer is crispy, and there are onions inside that I hate. But I still finished it in silence because it is really delicious. It is very juicy, so be careful as it burns your mouth. , but eating while walking is prohibited. There is a small indoor space next to it for guests to eat.
"Kagetsudo Pork Bread"
It is also one of the must-eat foods in Asakusa for many people. I ordered an original pineapple bread and took it with me after taking one bite. The bread is super big and the outer layer is covered with granulated sugar. It has a warm texture and can be eaten in one bite. The outer layer is very crispy and the inner layer is soft. After being stored for a long time, the bread will not taste so good. As expected, delicious food still has to be eaten on the spot.
「Asakusa Soratsuki」
It is a cute dumpling, quite soft and non-sticky to the teeth. The filling contains mango, strawberry and matcha. It tastes colorless and looks cute when taking photos.
"Eighty Eight Good Leaves House Asakusa"
Located next to Sumida Park in Asakusa, I can’t miss it if I’m a matcha lover! ! When I order a matcha latte, a clerk will brush the matcha on the spot and slowly pour it into the milk. Does it taste okay? After all, I prefer strong matcha.
"Imado Shrine"
It is a shrine that combines lucky cats and love. It is said to be the birthplace of lucky cats. It is full of lucky cats and there is a real white cat inside. It is really comfortable to see the cat lying there lazily.
It is recommended that if you are in Asakusa and are not in a hurry, you can walk here. There are fewer tourists here and it is quieter.
An Afternoon Stroll in Jiyugaoka: Savoring the Elegance and Tranquility of Tokyo
In Jiyugaoka, Tokyo, it feels like stepping into a serene little world. There's no bustling city noise here, but it possesses a subtle charm. The streets are lined with uniquely styled shops and cafes, and the orderly buildings and street corners exude a European town-like atmosphere, making one unconsciously slow down and enjoy the peaceful tranquility.
I wandered through exquisite boutiques, picking out unique handmade accessories and beautiful ornaments. Each item is full of design sense, bringing endless surprises. The afternoon sunlight filters through the trees, casting shadows in the alleys. Everywhere you look, you see residents and visitors strolling, smiling and nodding at each other, bringing a sense of warmth and friendliness.
Feeling tired, I chose to sit in a small cafe and savor a cup of aromatic hand-brewed coffee. Looking out the window at the street, watching people come and go, I enjoyed the quiet and ease of the moment. The beauty of Jiyugaoka lies not in its hustle and bustle, but in its tranquil lifestyle. It allowed me to experience another side of Tokyo—delicate and gentle. This walk became an unforgettable memory in my heart.
Tokyo High-End Business Hotel Next to the Garden
Address - Shinagawa, Tokyo, Japan
Environment/Facilities - High-end business type
Features - International big brand
Average Price - $1000/person
Rating - 8.5/10
During my first trip to Japan after the pandemic, I chose to stay at the Tokyo Marriott Hotel. I had stayed there a few years ago and had a good experience. This time, the hotel still retained its high-end feel. The number of guests was not too many, and the service was attentive. The concierge staff escorted me to the front desk for check-in, and the overall service was excellent. Even the standard room was quite spacious, and the bathroom was quite extravagant. Although the room had a small balcony, it was not accessible. This time, I took the opportunity to stroll around the nearby Gotenyama Garden, which was elegantly serene and very comfortable. Additionally, the hotel offers a free shuttle bus to and from Shinagawa Station, which is commendable.
One of the must-visit attractions for men in Tokyo.
Address - Odaiba, Minato-ku, Tokyo, Japan
Environment/Facilities - Giant robot show
Features - 1:1 Unicorn Gundam
Average Price - Free
Rating - 9.5/10
As the saying goes, men love Gundam, women don't understand! Visiting again after many years, the feeling is still very shocking. The life-size Gundam model performs regularly at night with strong lighting and music effects, bringing back full memories of youth. It's definitely worth seeing. If the joints could move more, it would be even more perfect. If you're a loyal fan, you can visit the nearby Odaiba shopping mall, which has several floors and a wide variety of stores, including the flagship Gundam model store. The number of displayed products and models is enormous, and fans will absolutely lose track of time. Additionally, there are many entertainment facilities and restaurants, enough to keep you entertained for a whole day.
Strolling through Tokyo's Shibamata Old Street, experiencing the rustic charm of Taishakuten Shrine.
Shibamata Old Street, located in Tokyo's Katsushika Ward, is a nostalgic pedestrian street exuding a strong Showa era atmosphere. One of the most famous attractions here is the Taishakuten Daikyoji Temple. This shrine has a long history and is an important place of worship for locals. It is also one of the filming locations for the movie 'Tora-san's Story,' adding a unique charm to the area.
Walking along Shibamata Old Street, you can see many traditional shops, including local snack stores selling dorayaki and senbei, tempting you to try them all. At the end of the street is the Taishakuten Shrine, with its exquisite wooden carvings, solemn atmosphere, and surrounding greenery, offering a moment of tranquility amidst the bustling city life.
**Must-visit spot**: Taishakuten Daikyoji Temple (Shibamata Old Street, Tokyo, Japan)
Recommended to visit this place to feel the nostalgic atmosphere of Japan, experience the local lifestyle, and pray for peace at Taishakuten Shrine. The unique ambiance of Shibamata Old Street is definitely worth a visit!
The Most Beautiful Scenery in Odaiba.
On the last day of our trip, we stayed at the Hilton Tokyo Odaiba. Our room faced the Rainbow Bridge and had a stunning view of Tokyo Tower. Definitely choose a room with an ocean view!
The room was clean, and the mattress and pillows were soft and comfortable, leaving nothing to be desired. However, the sauna and swimming pool required an extra fee, which we didn't notice when booking, so that was a bit disappointing.
The breakfast had a wide variety of options, including Eggs Benedict, and everything was delicious! Overall, it was a fantastic stay.
The popular free embroidery Onitsuka Tiger in Ginza🐯
# SHOPPING #100WAYS TO TRAVEL #Asics #Onitsukatiger #Tokyo Must Buy
In recent years, what running shoes are more popular than Onitsuka Tiger (OT) from Japan? In recent years, under the leadership of creative director Andrea Pompilio, ASICS has been hosting shows at Milan Fashion Week since 2022. It is not just about sneakers, it continues to add contemporary elements to clothing design, showing the integration of trends and Japanese culture, and has set off a craze around the world. 💕
🌟This "GINZA RED CONCEPT STORE" not only has trendy red designs from the outside to the inside, but also sells coffee on the first floor. There is also a whole floor of Japanese-made Onitsuka tigers on the first floor of the basement. The popular series Mexico 66 is available in various colors. You choose ~ Heelless casual shoes are also available!
🌟 Is this the end? No, what’s even more amazing is that this store in Ginza offers free embroidery, customization with 8 color threads and four alphanumeric combinations. The price is the same as other stores, but it can customize unique OT😍
🌟Because it is so popular, many styles and sizes are indeed sold out. It takes about 2 hours to wait for customized stitching and must be taken away on the same day; business hours are 11:00-20:00, so be sure to make sure you make the time👍

The Cutest Good Luck Tour in Tokyo is Here.
Gotokuji Temple has the most lucky cats, with around 1,000 of them. This temple is also the birthplace of the lucky cat. A lucky cat raises its right paw, while a fortune cat raises its left paw. If you want to make a wish, you can take a lucky cat home first, and when your wish comes true, return it and exchange it for a bigger one. This is the origin of the thousands of cats in the temple.
× Tips: The temple office for the lucky cats closes at 4 PM, so don't come too late if you want to make a wish. Especially if you want to buy a big fortune cat, you should arrive at the temple by 7 AM (each person can only buy one, and they only accept cash).
Transportation:
1. After arriving at Gotokuji Station on the Odakyu Line, walk about 10 minutes along the Gotokuji shopping street. Alternatively, transfer to the Tokyu Setagaya Line tram and get off at Miyanosaka Station, then walk for 3 minutes.
2. Take the cute Setagaya Line 'Lucky Cat Train' to Yamashita Station and walk from there. The Lucky Cat Train runs infrequently, so please check the timetable online in advance. (It reminds me of the Tuen Mun Light Rail in Hong Kong)
Address: 2-24-7 Gotokuji, Setagaya-ku, Tokyo
Specialty shops near Gotokuji Temple:
Holic Color Drinks Cat Cookies
Iron Coffee
Rarasand Cat Egg Cakes
A Perfect Day in Tokyo: Exploring, Eating & Enchanting Views 🗼🇯🇵
#tokyotrip
Tokyo is a city that brims with life, flavor, and endless things to see and do. Here’s how I spent half a day hopping through iconic spots, savoring delicious food, and catching a breathtaking sunset view. 🌇✨
Noon: Hanayama Udon 🍜
Starting my day with a visit to Hanayama Udon was the best way to ease into Tokyo’s bustling vibe. This cozy spot serves incredible wide udon noodles. Each slurp felt like a warm hug, just the kind of energy I needed to kickstart my Tokyo adventure. 💖 I also got a side of tempura rice with my meal!
Afternoon: Shibuya Sky 🌆
After strolling through the city, I made my way to Shibuya Sky. There’s no better place to soak in Tokyo's skyline than from the rooftop of Shibuya Scramble Square! Arriving right before sunset, I watched as the golden hour transformed the cityscape, casting soft pinks and oranges over the bustling streets below. The views are absolutely surreal, and as night falls, the twinkling lights of Tokyo create a mesmerizing sight. It’s a moment that makes you fall in love with the city all over again. 🧡🌃
Evening: Manten Sushi 🍣
To wrap up this perfect day, I treated myself to an unforgettable omakase experience at Manten Sushi. This is sushi like no other – fresh, expertly crafted, and bursting with flavor! Each piece was a little work of art, and I enjoyed letting the chef surprise me with his creations. The hilarious chef was definitely the highlight and I got to try over ten dishes! Truly the perfect finale to a day of exploring Tokyo’s vibrant energy and unmatched flavors. 🎌💯
Tokyo has a magic that can be felt through its food, sights, and sounds. A day here offers so much more than just sightseeing – it's an experience that leaves a mark on your heart. ❤️

Super fresh and delicious sea urchin in Tsukiji, Tokyo.
At the Tsukiji seafood market in Tokyo! It's really super delicious! No reservation needed!! When we went, there was no line, and there were plenty of other seafood options around, including grilled eel and wagyu sea urchin.
We tried many places that required reservations, but this one, from Osaka to Kyoto and finally to Tokyo, was the best! The key point is no line and no reservation needed! The ingredients are super fresh!

Are you still worried about where to stay in Tokyo?! Try the new high-quality and comfortable hotel in Tokyo Ginza - Mitsui Garden Ginza Tsukiji (opening on 30/9/2024).
💞Recommended Reasons:
Mitsui Garden, a well-known chain brand, has opened a new hotel in Tokyo Ginza!
The location is just a 6-minute walk from Higashi-Ginza Station, a 5-minute walk to the famous Tsukiji Market, and within 10 minutes to the bustling area of Ginza.
Nearby, there is the famous tea-flavored bar Mixology Salon🍸 and the must-visit coffee shop turret coffee☕️
The location is unbeatable!
I booked a double room, which is not small for Tokyo at this price, and you can fully open 2-3 suitcases.
The room surprisingly has a washing machine, refrigerator, and microwave! You can heat up food bought from the convenience store and store leftovers in the fridge❄️❄️
The bathroom is separated into wet and dry areas (their shampoo and conditioner smell amazing!), but I mostly used their large public bath for bathing and soaking😝
There is no wardrobe, but you can hang clothes on the hangers, and underwear and towels dry super fast❤️ I really love this!
The TV channels include YouTube and Netflix.
There is a large public bath on the B1 floor.
Most of the time, it's not crowded (maybe because it's newly opened).
In addition to the large bath for soaking, there are individual shower rooms (forgive the lack of a bathtub in the room🛁).
There is meditative music while soaking, which is incredibly relaxing!🛁🛁
The makeup area is equipped with the high-end RaFa hairdryer (I loved it so much that I bought one).
Soaking before heading out in the morning or after a long day is simply amazing!
There is a gym on the 9th floor.
It's not big, but it has everything you need—treadmills, elliptical machines, dumbbells, yoga mats👍🏻
It's really hard to find a hotel in Tokyo at this price with both a public bath and a gym!! (Truth!)
Overall, the experience was really good👍🏻
The staff's service attitude deserves praise—even if they are not very fluent in English, they are very patient in solving problems.
You can get unlimited water in the room just by asking them😍
I will book this hotel again next time I go to Tokyo!
Rating - 9/10❤️❤️

The First Time Experiencing a Museum That Leaves You in Awe!!!
Have you ever been awestruck by the power of nature?
I've visited countless zoos, aquariums, and museums~
The saying 'The world is full of wonders' is something I've long understood~
But I never expected...
To be so amazed by the exhibits at the National Museum of Nature and Science in Tokyo!!!
I never knew that primitive species of animals could be so gigantic!!!!!!!!!!
I always knew that the antlers of deer and sheep come in various styles~
But seeing them in person,
With all the different colors, textures, and 360-degree views...
It makes you marvel,
Nature truly is the most beautiful, grand, and creative artist!!!
Both the permanent and special exhibitions are so fascinating!!!
And you can rent an audio guide,
Gaining knowledge while enjoying the exhibits!!
There are great dining options both inside and outside the museum!!!
The museum souvenirs are also very interesting and cute!!
There are socks with dog and dinosaur bone patterns, and various animal plush toys...
I actually bought a lot!!!
As long as you find good spots, solo travel won't be boring!~
Tokyo Tower, a landmark of Tokyo.

A nice and cozy cafe for afternoon tea at Shibuya, WHITE GLASS COFFEE
#100waysoftravel
After the event I attended at Shibuya, I need to look for some place for a nice cup of coffee, and I found this nice little place called White Glass Coffee. This cafe specializes in specialty coffee on a single origin basis from all around the world. I ordered a Tanzania Bloma Natural which has a strong scent of floral note and their homemade cheesecake. The combination is really excellent especially combining the cake with their specialty coffee, and my mood instantly boosted and my efficiency increased. This is really a nice experience and I will come again.
Checklist ticked, had the best kaiten sushi in Tokyo
#travelchecklist #100waysoftravel
One of my travel checklist to Tokyo is to go to a rotating sushi belt restaurant, and I managed to visit one called Kaiten Sushi Onodera located at Omotesando. I need to get a numbee bit fortunately I only needed to wait for 13 minutes, but too bad for those behind me who had to wait 40 minites due to the overwhelming crowd. I started with their seasonal menu, medium fatty tuna belly and raw salmon, and they yasted heavenly!!! All the sliced cut is so fresh and I especoally loved the fatty tuna. I also had other fish like the scortched hairtail fish which is excellently good as well. The restaurant is also very generous to give you a free drink if you do a survey, and a piece of free sushi if you leave a review on google. This is the best Kaiten sushi restaurant I ever visited, and I will do it again.
Kaiten Sushi Restaurant checklist ticked!!!

Haneda Airport Nearby! Anamori Inari Shrine.
This shrine is located just two stations (4 minutes) from Keikyu Line's Haneda Airport Terminal 3 Station. It is deeply connected with Haneda Airport and is revered as a shrine for aviation safety and airport protection. I was glad to visit this shrine as I had always wanted to pray for travel safety. TASTE OF INDONESIA IN TOKYO
#photolocation
Cinta Jawa Cafe in Shibuya, Tokyo, offers authentic Indonesian cuisine, with popular dishes like nasi goreng, nasi ayam penyet, bakso, soto ayam.
The food is flavorful and reminiscent of true Indonesian home cooking, providing a taste of Indonesia in Tokyo. Prices are reasonable, with meals typically ranging from ¥1,000 to ¥2,000.
Though the cafe has a cozy laid back atmosphere, it gets really busy during peak hours !
Overall, it's a great spot for those craving Indonesian food in the city.

Blue Bottle Coffee Shibuya Park Store - A Haven for Travelers to Slow Down
Blue Bottle Coffee Shibuya Park Store is the first park store of Blue Bottle in Japan. Nestled in the bustling Shibuya, it awaits travelers who wish to slow down and savor a cup of coffee named 'Relaxation.' This store combines minimalist design with a warm atmosphere, filled with abundant wooden elements that help guests unwind. This time, I ordered the cold brew coffee and the classic latte, both of which suited my taste perfectly. Sitting outside, I enjoyed a moment of tranquility.

The Best Accommodation Options for Traveling to Tokyo
The GATE HOTEL Kaminarimon by HULIC is located right across from the bustling Kaminarimon Lantern in Asakusa. Some rooms and the rooftop observation deck offer views of the Tokyo Skytree, a famous landmark. The rooms are comfortable and clean, and the service is excellent. There's even a supermarket and a drugstore on the first floor. Dafa stayed here for four nights during the 2023 Lunar New Year. Additionally, you can reach Asakusa Station directly from Haneda and Narita airports without changing lines, and it's just a 3-minute walk to the hotel. It's also very convenient to visit the Skytree from here.
