The city of "The Olive Tree" in Sanmao's works.

There are two "World Heritage Cities" in the Andalusia region of Spain. They are less than 10 kilometers apart and both have more than 50 ancient buildings. They are known as the "World Heritage Twin Cities". This is Úbeda (Figures 1-3) and Baeza (Figures 4-6) in Jaén Province. Although these two cities are close, they are different. Some people commented: "Úbeda is quiet, and Baeza is delicate." Úbeda has a long history. The Sacra Capilla del Salvador in the city is a representative work of Spanish Renaissance architecture; Baeza has a magnificent city hall and the Fuente de los Leones. 🌳It is worth mentioning that the capital of Jaén Province is the hometown of Sanmao's husband, José.
