My First Skiing Experience at Heavenly, Tahoe

I chose skiing for my first time because it's often recommended for beginners, especially since I lack athletic skills. My friends and Wes, who love skiing, encouraged me to join them. We both took lessons at Heavenly, a renowned ski resort in Tahoe known for its stunning scenery. We started by taking a gondola to a mid-mountain area, which was stable and offered great views. This area had restaurants and various practice slopes and trails. I opted for a 2.5-hour beginner ski lesson (10am-12:30pm), while Wes took a beginner snowboard lesson at the same time. It was his second time snowboarding, and he successfully joined our friends on the Blue line. My instructor, Eric, was excellent, and you can request him if interested. The lesson was intense with two 10-minute breaks, and I only managed to learn the 'pizza' technique, struggling with braking and turning. Our lessons cost around $300 each, including the gondola, ski rentals, helmet, and boots.
