Tidal Basin Walk

A simple and enjoyable 1-3h walk that’s doable within the day ; get to see all sorts of historical icons and enjoy a cool breeze along the way! You can choose to walk clockwise or the other way according to where you’re starting from. I started from the National Academy of Sciences where you can meet Einstein’s statue. Walk through the War Veterans’ memorials, visit the Lincoln memorial with its reflecting pool, where you can catch a glimpse of Washington Monument. Go round to visit Martin Luther King Jr, the Roosevelts, George Mason and Jefferson’s dome and head right back inland to the museums if the day gets gloomy! #washingtondc #usa
