Crosby Beach

Crosby beach is located in Merseyside, 30 minute drive from St. Helens train station. It’s worth a long walk along the beach, even in winter. Along the beach is the art installation by Sir Antony Gormley called Another Place. This sees the statues at various points of the beach, in different stages of rising from the sand. There are 100 cast iron statues, all looking out to the horizon. Following the beach along, you should be wary of quicksand and stay around the paths others are taking.
