Weizhou Island, Beihai, Guangxi | 30-degree winter and beautiful jelly sea

Weizhou Island is located in the middle of the Beibu Gulf in Beihai City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, on the continental shelf along the coast of Guangxi. Three hundred million years ago, this place was a vast ocean. After 285 million years, it has been in a land state. It was not until 25 million years ago that the Beibu Gulf region began to sink on a large scale and form a shallow sea shelf. By 3 million years ago, the sea water in the northern part of the Beibu Gulf gradually receded, and it was not until 900,000 years ago that Weizhou Island became land again, in a state of weathering and erosion. Time flies, but the Huabiao lasts for a thousand years. The vicissitudes of the world are vividly reflected in Weizhou Island.
