Wutian Old Street is the first historical and cultural block project in Ouha District, located in Wutian Street, Ouha District, Wenzhou City. This old street project aims to revive the "Wudu" market charm, continue the Tanghe cultural lifeline, take water as the core, take the Tanghe River House culture as the theme, and take the arcade water street and the banyan pavilion as the characteristics. The architecture of the old street draws on the characteristics of traditional houses in Wenzhou. The materials are "locally sourced", with a calm and heavy tone as the main tone. The physical building walls are mainly blue-gray bricks, partially decorated with wooden frames, and the roof is small. Blue tiles, the facade is mainly composed of wooden frames, overhanging buildings, and arcades. In the old street, there is a landmark building-Kuixing Pavilion, which is about 28 meters high. It is a place where ancient Wenzhou students pray for high school and the first place. In the development history of the old street, the Wutian area was extremely prosperous during the Ming and Qing Dynasties. It was a famous "Wutian Market" and had the reputation of "Wudu". There are shops on both sides of the street, blacksmith shops, inns, snack shops, etc., and the boats docked on the river bank are bustling with transactions. In the 1980s, the block along the river arcades, wharfs, and alleys were unique and became the memories of old Wenzhou people. In 2018, the street launched a historical and cultural block project, demolished 155 village households along the street, and planned to reproduce the past glory.
