The rich history of the cathedral, which dates back to the 19th century. The cathedral's awe-inspiring Gothic Revival architecture with intricate stained-glass windows, soaring spires, detailed craftsmanship and grand interior are truly impressed me indeed. I'm literally enjoy taking photos of the beauty of cathedral, and exploring its serene atmosphere. ▶️ The informative plaques and guided tours help visitors understand its historical and cultural importance. There is a free guided tour on offer every Sunday at 2.00pm. Registration close at 12noon Thursday of each week before the intended tour. Registrations are capped at 15 people and it’s first come first serve. ▶️ The cathedral situated in the heart of Sydney, near Hyde Park, its central location makes it a convenient stop for tourists. It just a 2 minutes walk away from St James Railway station, and also walking distance from Martin Place Railway station and Town Hall Railway station. It's also easily accessible and often included in city tours. 🕰️ Saint Mary's Cathedral is open everyday from 6.30am to 6.30pm (Monday to Friday), and 6.30am to 7.00pm (Saturday & Sunday), the admission is Free! Overall, Saint Mary's Cathedral is highly regarded for its beauty, history, and spiritual ambiance, making it a must-visit destination in Sydney.
