First Yangtze River Bridge

The Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge is the first bridge built over the Yangtze River after the founding of the People's Republic of China. It is also the first bridge ever built over the Yangtze River. It is the first double-track railway and highway bridge in China. After the bridge was completed, it became a major artery connecting the north and south of China. Despite years of wind and rain, the bridge remains as strong as ever, standing proudly as a beautiful sight and a historical monument on the Yangtze River.
