Wutai Mountain Pilgrimage: A Journey of Spiritual Purification

In the solemn ashram of Manjushri Bodhisattva, Wutai Mountain, you can experience the profound Buddhist culture and magnificent scenery in just one day. Shuxiang Temple, the ancestral temple of Manjushri Bodhisattva, is home to a solemn and majestic statue of Manjushri riding a lion, about 9.87 meters high, in the Great Manjushri Hall. Although photography is prohibited in the temple, its sanctity is imprinted in the heart. Tayuan Temple is named after the Shakyamuni Relic Pagoda and the Manjushri Hair Pagoda. Walking around the corridor of the Relic Pagoda, accompanied by copper bells and prayer wheels, the six-character mantra echoes, and peace and prosperity are prayed for in the prayer wheels. Pusading Temple, the pearl on Lingjiu Peak, is a red-walled, gold-tiled temple that displays the wealth of the Qing Dynasty imperial palace. Built in the Northern Wei Dynasty, the legend of Shunzhi's ordination adds mystery. Climb the 108 steps to the top, and the chanting of scriptures will dispel your worries, and the scenery will be in full view. Xiantong Temple, with its grand scale and long history, shines alongside the White Horse Temple. The white Wuliang Hall is breathtaking, with exquisite brick carvings on the outer eaves and a suspended caisson inside, and the Wuliang Buddha is compassionate and solemn. Dailuo Peak, "If you don't climb Dailuo Peak, you haven't been to Wutai Mountain." Climb the 1,080 steps in one go, and the pilgrimage to the small platform is complete.
