Nanchan Temple, Wuxi.

Located in the south of Wuxi, by the ancient canal, this unique ancient temple has a history of 1,450 years. It is one of the 480 temples of the Southern Dynasty, originally named Huguo Temple. The temple was rebuilt in the third year of Chongning and was renamed "Fusheng Zen Temple", commonly known as Nanchan Temple, and is known as the "best forest in the south of the Yangtze River". The ancient pagoda in the temple is a seven-level octagonal pavilion, 43.3 meters high, built in the Yongxi period of the Northern Song Dynasty, and has a history of over a thousand years. The eaves are hung with copper bells, known as "the sound of the golden bell can be heard ten miles away, and the jade dragon flies down from the sky", one of the eight scenic spots in Wuxi. 🚉Transportation strategy: Get off at "Nanchan Temple" station on Wuxi Metro Line 1, exit 8, and walk east along Xiangyang Road.
