Back from Wunvzhou, my happiness is maxed out!

Hey everyone 👋, I just got back from an amazing trip to Wunvzhou, and I have to tell you all about this fantastic place. Get your notebooks ready 📒! 📍 Address: Wunvzhou Resort is located at No. 8 Wengong North Road, Wuyuan County, Shangrao City, Jiangxi Province. It's like a meticulously crafted dream town, surrounded by beautiful mountains and rivers. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking 😍. 🚗 Transportation: If you're driving 🚙, just navigate to the destination. The road conditions are good, and the idyllic scenery along the way is super relaxing. You can even see large stretches of rapeseed flower fields (during the blooming season). I really wanted to stop and take pictures 📷. The scenic area has a dedicated parking lot, and the parking fee is reasonable. If you're taking the high-speed train 🚄, get off at Wuyuan Station. There are several options after you exit the station. A taxi ride to Wunvzhou takes about 20 minutes and costs about CNY 40–50. You can also take the scenic area's shuttle bus. Check the departure times on the official website in advance. It's both economical and convenient 🚌. 🕙 Recommended visit time: I suggest a two-day, one-night trip. During the day, you can fully experience the town's ancient charm and admire the unique architecture and natural scenery. Don't miss the light show and various performances at night. The entire resort transforms into a romantic fairy tale world 🌃. One day is too rushed; you won't be able to enjoy everything. 🎯 Itinerary: 🎈 Once you enter Wunvzhou, head to Wuxiangtang Square first. This is the heart of the resort, and the surrounding buildings have an ancient charm, reminiscent of a Jiangnan water town. Walk along the stone path and you'll see Wenchang Bookstore, which has many books and cultural and creative products. If you're bringing children, you can experience the scholarly atmosphere here 📚. 🎈 Further ahead is Baoyu Pagoda. There are many unique shops at the foot of the pagoda where you can browse and buy souvenirs 🎁. Then go to "Meet Wuyuan," where you can see a spectacular show. Using high-tech methods, it vividly presents the history, culture, and local customs of Wuyuan. It's truly impressive 👍. 🎈 In the evening, go to the Musical Fountain Square. The fountains dance gracefully with the music and lights, creating a mesmerizing spectacle. Afterwards, stroll through the night market, which is bustling with various snacks and handicrafts 🎉. 📸 Must-see photo spots: • The lake in front of Wuxiangtang: During the day, the shimmering lake water reflects the buildings behind it, creating a scene like a traditional Chinese painting 🖼️. It's super artistic for photos. At night, the lights create a dreamy atmosphere, and every shot looks amazing. • Baoyu Pagoda is a landmark building in Wunvzhou. Take a photo from a distance looking up, and the pagoda looks especially magnificent against the blue sky and white clouds. Standing at the foot of the pagoda, with the tower as a backdrop, any shot is a masterpiece 📱. • There's also the flower sea area. Different flowers bloom in different seasons, creating a colorful ocean of flowers. It's a perfect spot for photos. Kids love running around here; they have so much fun 😆. 🍱 Local cuisine: • You must try Wuyuan steamed rice cakes. They have a soft and glutinous texture, topped with various ingredients like minced meat, diced radish, and chopped green onion. The flavor is savory and delicious, and every bite is satisfying 😋. You can find them in many shops in the scenic area. • Qingmingguo is also very good. The outer layer is made of mugwort juice and glutinous rice flour, and there are sweet and savory versions. The sweet ones have a sesame filling and are crispy and delicious; the savory ones are filled with wild vegetables and meat, offering a unique flavor. • There's also Huizhiguo, a special snack with a chewy texture. Served with a special sauce, it has a unique flavor. Don't miss it when you visit Wunvzhou. 🏠 Accommodation recommendations: • There are many unique homestays to choose from within the resort 🛏️, each with its own style. Some are classically Chinese, while others are modern and minimalist. The rooms are cozy, and the prices range from CNY 500–1,000 per night. Staying inside the resort makes it easier to experience the nightlife. • If you want to save some money, you can choose hotels outside the resort. The prices are more affordable, around CNY 200–500. Although they are not inside the resort, they are not far away, and transportation is convenient. Wunvzhou is truly a wonderful place.
