Ancient Longzhong in Xiangyang | Complete Travel Guide

🔔Introduction: The Longzhong Scenic Area is located in Xiangcheng District of Xiangyang City, with a history of more than 1,700 years. It includes five major scenic spots: Ancient Longzhong, Shuijing Zhuang, Cheng'en Temple, Qili Mountain, and Hezichuan. It is known as the cradle of wisdom because of Zhuge Liang's 'cultivation of the fields' and Liu Bei's 'three visits to the thatched cottage', which led to the famous 'Longzhong Plan', making it the strategic source for the division of the Three Kingdoms. ---- 📷Tour Route: ✅From the North Gate Visitor Center of the scenic area, take a sightseeing bus for about 20 minutes to reach the statue of Zhuge Liang; ✅Continue walking 100 meters to reach the iconic building of the scenic area - the 'Ancient Longzhong' stone archway, built during the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty, with a four-pillar and three-gate tower style; ✅At this point, there is a fork in the road, which is actually a loop. You can go in either direction, but it is recommended to turn right and cross the bridge to the Longzhong Academy, which is a window into Zhuge Liang's life in Xiangyang; ✅After visiting the academy, continue up the stone steps.
