Changping Valley, Mount Siguniang Scenic Area Location: Xiaojin County, Aba Prefecture, Sichuan Province Opening hours: 8:00–15:00 Admission: CNY 70; Sightseeing bus ticket: CNY 20 (CNY 150 for Changping to Bipenggou hiking registration) Parking lot: At the visitor center, free Changping Valley is 29 km long, and non-hiking visitors usually only visit about one-third of it. The highest peak of Mount Siguniang, Yaomei Peak, is located here. On a clear day, you can see all four peaks. Main attractions include Zangmu Village, Lama Temple, Gan Haizi, and Red Stone Beach. The vast primeval forest offers a unique experience, and the hanging moss is a testament to the fresh air. The dense forest blocks out the sun, making the boardwalk especially quiet. If you have the stamina, you can choose to hike, but be sure to return before 15:00, when the sightseeing bus stops running. Without the sightseeing bus, it is very difficult to return to the visitor center. If you don't have the stamina, you can choose to ride a horse. You can choose to ride a horse for different sections, and there are different prices. Note: The horse trail and the boardwalk are different. If possible, try to walk on the boardwalk, as the scenery is really beautiful and it would be a shame to miss it. You can also walk on the boardwalk on the way there and ride a horse on the way back.
