Kanas Lake

Kanas Lake is fed by glacial meltwater from the Kuitun and Friendship Peaks, as well as local precipitation. The Kanas Lake Scenic Area is a unique combination of mountains, rivers, forests, lakes, grasslands, historical and cultural sites such as the Genghis Khan Western Expedition Army's Command Platform and ancient rock paintings, and the unique folk customs of the Mongolian Tuva people. The main attractions include Camel Neck Bay, Color-Changing Lake, Wolong Bay, and Fish Viewing Platform.
