Let’s explore Menghai in Xishuambanna

Getting There - Flight from Shanghai to Xishuambanna The time had finally come for me to book a little short vacation for the Christmas break. I’ve heard amazing reviews about Xishuambanna and opted to explore the area for a week. As I packed my bags, with an open mind and camera in tow I was excited to see what attractions I can see. We first explored Menghai a small town north of Xishuambanna, the landscape and architecture was heavily influenced by South-East Asia. I was quite surprised to learn about the ethnic proportions this region the “Dai” people. The food was spicy, fresh and healthy.
