He Garden

The He Garden in Yangzhou, known as the finest garden of the late Qing Dynasty, is worth a visit. The layout of this garden is somewhat different from traditional gardens like the Humble Administrator's Garden and the Ge Garden. The elements seem similar, but it feels more practical and compact, with richer architectural features. Perhaps because it was built during the late Qing period, it also incorporates some Western elements. The materials used in the garden's construction are very exquisite; the Taihu rocks are beautiful. The halls, towers, and galleries are grand and yet have a sense of mystery, being both elegant and comfortable for practical use.
