Maksimirska Park

Maksimirska Park in the Center of Zagreb is a must see attraction in the city. Right downtown next to the football stadium and the Zagreb zoo lies a huge forest for a park. Built during the Austro-Hungarian Empire. This park mixes forest areas with well kept lawns and quaint baroque architecture. It is definitely a great place to come with friends and set up a picnic or stroll up the little hill located in the Center to old style cafe on top. it is very easy to get there. there is plenty of parking opposite the road and trams regularly stop at the entrance.
