Hiking route: Daxigou Heart-shaped Lake - Hanging Plank Road - Mountain God Temple - Qinglongtan (optional) - Ciyun Temple (optional). The whole journey takes 4.5-5 hours with kids. If you only go to the Heart-shaped Lake - Hanging Plank Road - Mountain God Temple, it takes about 3-3.5 hours with kids. Scenery along the way: valleys, mountains, artificially excavated hanging mountain roads, green trees everywhere, red leaves and yellow leaves in late autumn, very beautiful! There are stairs going down halfway, leading to the reservoir. We didn't go down because we were afraid of going too far with the kids, so we just went straight ahead. Precautions: The hanging plank road is relatively primitive, and there is no protection on the side of the mountain road, so be sure to watch your children!
