Ba Na Hills is situated at an altitude of over 1,400 meters, and one of its cable car lines is the world's longest and highest. Be cautious if you're prone to motion sickness or altitude sickness—consider taking medication beforehand. I felt a bit nauseous on the way up due to the stuffy cable car, but the ride down was much better in a more ventilated car. The main highlights of Ba Na Hills are the Golden Hand Bridge and the French Village. The Golden Hand Bridge is very popular and crowded, but you can find quieter spots for photos if you walk down a bit (like in the first picture). It's an iconic photo spot. Moving up, you'll reach the French Village, which features beautiful architecture. However, knowing it's not the real France made it less exciting for me 🤣 and it felt a bit artificial. Overall, Ba Na Hills is a great place for a leisurely stroll, though it can get quite crowded. Surprisingly, the highlight of my day was the buffet lunch—it was massive and offered a wide variety of dishes. A similar buffet in Taiwan would probably cost around 1,300 TWD, but in Vietnam, it was only 400 TWD. Plus, there's still some left over! 🤩 ✈️ Main expenses • Round-trip flight (AirAsia) → ฿4,040 • Data roaming via True (including 7% VAT) → ฿426.93 • Total travel expenses for the trip (Grab + private driver) → ฿646.75 • 3-night hotel stay → approximately ฿3,000 • Food (divided by 4 people) → ฿3,054 📌 Total = ฿11,200 (not including souvenirs) ⸻ 🚖 Transportation We only used Grab once, from the airport to the hotel on the first day. 💡 Then, we happened to meet a very nice driver, so we decided to add him on Line. After that, we always called him via Line, and he charged us a little cheaper than on the app. Plus, they were so friendly and chatty! 🥰 This is a great little trick that saved me a lot on travel costs. ⸻ 🏨 Accommodation We chose a hotel for around 3,000 baht for 3 nights (splitting it with friends wasn't expensive at all).
