Motel di Cairns North

The photos provided by the operators are extremely deceptive. The accomodation is old and run down. The shower tiles were painted at some stage, and it is now peeling off both the floor and the walls. The “updated” vanity basin and tap are poorly sizes and you are unable to fully wash your face due to the shape and size of the basin with a shorter necked faucet . There is no complete enclosure for water in the shower resulting in you flooding the bathroom each time you shower- we ended up using the common showers in the passageway to attempt keep our room dry. The toilet paper is only single ply so bring your own if you decide to stay here !! Our towels and sheets had stains on them and the pillows are flat and lumpy. I wouldn’t swim in the pool unless you’ve had your latest tetanus shots. We were followed back to the accommodation by a slightly hostile homeless person one night which was slightly unnerving for our teenage daughters. The nicest part of this accommodation is the outdoor BBQ area. The breakfast provided smelt ok, but we decided to eat at the cafe at the marina each day as we were heading out to the reef and islands anyways. We decided to stay here and save money as generally we are out during the day and only need a comfortable bed and a clean shower- next time we will be going back to our regular accommodation closer to the Esplanade. Great people. My booking was buggered up. I was booked in two places at once but not later in the month for work. Called and spoke to staff re my situation and it was sorted professionally and without fuss. I’ve stayed at Aspect Central many many times and will continue to do so. Highly recommend.

The Bohemia resort is located close to the airport, excellent pubs including (Cock & Bull pictured) and restaurants so was perfect for an overnight stay. The garden pool area looks inviting. The rooms are basic but clean, fairly old bathrooms simple amenities in fair condition. comfortable bed. Well priced and well located. Friendly staff.

I saw ‘Cairns City’ in the title & booked, but don’t be fooled like I was as the motel is up in Cairns North, a good 15 minute walk from the Cairns CBD & Esplanade area. The view from my apartment was the Cairns State High football field on Sheridan Street. That said, the motel was decent for the price charged ($180 a night in peak season) and the Wi-fi was strong which was important as I was working remotely for a full day from my room. It’s by no means a modern motel but the room size was adequate & had everything I needed for a short 2 night stay. The room was well prepped, with a fresh tropical coconut fragrance as you walk in. There is a bit of noise from the Main Street outside and you can hear other guests next door from time to time but overall nothing too distracting. There were cafes & shops nearby within walking distance including a bakery 5 minutes up the road which does espresso coffee. But it is not a city motel & without a car it’s a hike to get to the Cairns esplanade/lagoon area where tourists normally go. On the first night I walked into town & saw the laser light show installed for the Cairns Festival near the Pier Bar & had a massage treatment at Foot & Body in Orchid Plaza.

Great food and friendly helpful staff. Although this building is quite old it has been reasonably well renovated and is very comfortable to stay at. I had to leave VERY early to catch a bus and was supplied with a box breakfast, most welcome at 5am. On my return from my trip to Karumba we found that my booking had been made incorrectly a week further ahead.on arrival at 7pm , very tired,I was very grateful that the duty manager was able to put me into a very nice room for the night, and I was able to have a delightful meal and catch up with the gorgeous Shoni who welcomed me back even though I looked and smelt like Robinson Caruso, would definitely go there again.

Lokasi hotel adalah sederhana. Ia mengambil masa kira-kira 15 minit untuk berjalan kaki ke restoran dan pusat. Perkhidmatan di kaunter tidak begitu baik, dengan mata tanpa ekspresi, dan tidak akan memberitahu anda butiran semasa mendaftar masuk. Penghawa dingin di dalam bilik tetamu tidak boleh dilaraskan, ia hanya boleh dihidupkan/dimatikan. Apabila aircond dihidupkan, ia akan berasa sangat sejuk, dan apabila ia dimatikan, ia akan menjadi sedikit tersumbat, dan hanya ada selimut nipis. Bilik air di bilik tetamu sangat usang. Yang lain baik-baik saja. Jangan syorkan tinggal di hotel ini.

房間的麪積還是比較大的，有點小舊，離機場比較近。衛生情況還可以。它的餐廳是泰餐 晚餐時吃過一次，可以試一試哦。
