I spent a couple of nights in this hotel and to my surprise the atmosphere matches the (visual) story the website tells. It's a relief compared to many other hotels I've stayed in. It's almost as if you're in some classy exotic holiday hotel. The Botanic gardens right outside the hotel make up for the lack of atmosphere of the area... although the location very near the North train station is very convenient. The informally clothed staff are young, very friendly and energetic. The bar at the top floor of the hotel is a nice surprise! One of the Barista guys went out of his way to tell me about many details of the hotel and its philosophy, gave tips of where to go and what to see... all the while busy preparing mean coffees. (Scruffy beard, earring... Petey?) If you need to stay in Brussels for business (or pleasure of course) I can only imagine it must be a relief that some hotel chains do understand how to make you feel at home. (I'm regretting now not stealing the nice mug from the room!)

Aloft Brussels Schuman offers an exceptional experience for guests with mobility needs. The hotel functions very well, featuring spacious rooms that are easily accessible. Located in the heart of the city, it’s just a 10-minute walk from the EU Parliament, making it a prime spot for both leisure and business travelers. As an electric wheelchair user, I found my room to be perfect, with excellent shower and bathroom facilities. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating, ensuring a pleasant stay. If you’re looking for comfort and convenience in Brussels, this hotel is an excellent choice!
