I would 100% recommend Kampot Sweet Boutique. We fell in love with Kampot, both the area and the people. The hotel is quite new and even though it a bit remote still easily accessible. The hotel staff will arrange all rides, tours etc.... according to your personal choice. They are extremely kind, friendly and very helpful 🌞 We had a great tour around kampot and of the pepper fields. The hotel food was okay, many different options. If you did not feel to eat what was in their restaurant, it was quite easy to get a lift into the city area for more options. We stayed there for 3 nights then drove to Phnom Penh for one day and night (long weekend holiday) and we prefer Kampot so much better.

Beautiful setting with choice of rooms n chalets. By the riverside which is therapeutic. Good breakfast spread, free mini bar, new bathroom fittings. Reasonable pricing. Friendly and helpful staff. Easy access. Has 2 pools. Fairly new facilities which are well kept.

Enjoyed 3 nights in kampots monkey republic. When reading reviews, please check the date. There are a small portion of dated negative reviews and I can honestly confirm we have experienced a great stay. Monkey republic grounds are stunning, the garden is beautiful, calm and relaxing. The restaurant and bar is wonderful, and every single meal has had the plate licked clean. We stayed in a private room, which had both air conditioning AND a ceiling fan, tv, fridge, lockable safe and much more. The ceiling fan is great for drowning out the sometimes slightly louder wildlife (birds) if you are a light sleeper like me. The windows are secure, and have a built in net if you wish to have your window left open. The hostel is located right in the middle of town and is a short walk or moped drive to the beaches. There is even a big supermarket a stones throw away. Excursions and mopeds can be booked with the hotel and laundry is right across the road. The rooms are clean and have everything you need. There is a slight smell in the toilets… I will agree, but this is Cambodia, where, sometimes drainage and sewage is not 5 stars. It’s not a deal breaker, it’s just a simple adjustment you need to accept in the country. The beds are comfortable and ours was clean. The staff are welcoming, friendly, and always happy to serve you. The vibes here are calm, welcoming, safe, peaceful and friendly - with the ability to turn up the pace, pool and darts are available and a huge selection of alcohol and fruit juices/smoothies from the bar. I seen a couple of reviews dissing the atmosphere - but it is absolutely perfect for us because we didn’t want 24/7 loud, crazy, drunk. I would highly recommend this to all groups, and most importantly, we would both definitely stay again! My favourite thing here is all of the monkey pictures and the cooked breakfast!

The room was spotless, with fresh linens and a sparkling bathroom, thanks to the excellent housekeeping team. The bed was large and incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful stay. The staff were friendly and attentive, always making us feel welcome. The hotel’s location was ideal—right by the river and just a short drive from the city center, offering a perfect mix of relaxation and easy access to sightseeing. The spacious hotel grounds and serene riverside setting made the environment fresh and enjoyable, creating a peaceful retreat we absolutely loved.

We had one of the best stays of our life at Sabay Beach. Nestled by the beautiful river and blending in seamlessly into the jungle like surroundings, we relaxed, ate high quality food at very affordable prices, enjoyed cocktails and took part in the day trips which had been carefully chosen for guests. Nothing was too much trouble for the fantastic team who looked after us, especially kdey , Ly , Mouy , and Misy. We were sad to leave!
