Very good hotel, I stayed with 2 teenagers and they had their own room and I had my own. It was Family suite. Amazing breakfast! Very clean and service was pleasant. Location near by the city. Everywhere walking distance. Only issue we faced there were a construction going on next to the hotel and the noise started at 8am. So just check in the construction update and you may have more pleasant mornings

Pemiliknya sangat baik dan aktif. Lokasinya sukar ditemui pada mulanya, tetapi ia bukan masalah besar. Ia sangat bersih dan kemudahannya baik. Saya mempunyai lebih ramai kawan orang barat daripada orang Korea. Saya rasa saya tidak pernah ke China. Saya mempunyai peluang untuk bertemu rakan-rakan dari England, Jerman, Perancis, tetapi saya sangat menyesal kerana saya tidak berbahasa Inggeris. Penginapannya bagus dan Sapa juga sangat cantik. Saya pasti akan kembali lain kali. Saya sayang awak Megaview Homestay. Selamat tinggal.

Excellent hotel with very friendly and helpful hotel. Located in the centre of Sa Pa with plenty of restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance. The staff were great and helped make our stay. The room was very comfortable with everything needed to enjoy our stay. Working elevators. The room was quite except for early morning, but this noise was from a building close by being erected. Workers start early. Highly recommend.

Nice hotel in the center of Sa Pa. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The breakfast is typical Vietnamese, i.e. some fruits, rice, pancakes, white bread, juice, etc. Our room offered a great view on Sa Pa and the lake. We only stayed one night, but still we had a great time at the Saparis Hotel and we would definitely stay there again.

First I didn’t notice the location is 20mins away from the city, i paid 250k dong for 1 way (this is my mistake) 2- The view here was stunning! If you want to break a city life, this is a must! Super relaxing! For the food, the have a menu but don’t expect too much but still good. 3- The owner/staff are all nice, emailed them coz there’s typhoon in Taipei last few days before my flight and they agree to keep my booking till i reach there. The communication at this hotel was exceptional. It was 2 night stayed but I need to go back in Hanoi but sure i will go back again here with my husband. Thank you. ❤️❤️❤️

We had a blissful stay at this highly regarded lodging. You couldn’t ask for a better location in the picturesque Ta Van Valley away from the frenzy and bright lights of Sapa. Rose and Rex (the proprietors) are two of the most genuine and adorable people you could hope to meet. They have developed a homely, quirky and comfortable residence with cosy rooms, intricate soft furnishings, and elegant bathrooms. Rose more than lives up to her reputation as a legendary cook. We enjoyed all our food but her spicy eggplant and the family banquet she prepared for us were real highlights of our trip. As a result, we had practically all our meals there. The portions and prices were far too generous for the prices charged. In addition to satisfying our stomachs, Rose took care of many other aspects of our trip (pick up and drop off at Sapa, day trek and lunch with a fantastic local guide Mimi - highly recommended) and even accommodated us in a room for an extra half day after check out without charge so we could relax and freshen up before our night bus. She was full of helpful tips and advice which helped us to make the most of our time in Sapa. The staff (and Bailey her dog) were all very sweet, fun and welcoming. Even though we were only there for 3 days, by the end we felt like part of the family and were sad to leave. We would love to return one day.

I was not impressed by looking at the pictures on the internet as the decoration style is quite normal. I saw that every room has a balcony with mountain view so I booked for a night at 500,000 VND, Deluxe, no breakfast. Reception staff both the lady and the young man are very welcoming. Got room 501 with glass doors floor to ceiling. The left side of the bed has a large glass wall seeing Pao’s Sapa Hotel. Room has basic toiletries, 2 towels, instant tea, 2 bottles of water, kettle, air con with heater mode, hair dryer, etc. We are so happy we have this view so we booked another night. A makeup table. A long table. A small sofa with a tea table. The room size is about 4 x 6 meters. Spacious enough for us. With this price and view, it’s very valuable. The facilities are good quality but not luxury which is understandable for the price. The room is very new so everything in our room works well. Room lighting can be warm, day warm or day light each time I turn on and off. Room faces the west and is warm in mid Jan when outside is very cold thanks to the location and the design. The wind doesn’t flow through when I close the main door. No under bed electric heater but we don’t feel cold. The cleanliness is acceptable as they don’t clean the hidden floor behind the toilet.

In the Buffalo Trek in Sapa with my family, and it was truly a life-changing experience. Our trekking guide, Chili, was incredibly knowledgeable about the area and made sure that we were safe and comfortable throughout the entire trek. On day one, we trekked through the villages, mountains, and valleys of Sapa. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking, and we felt completely immersed in the natural atmosphere of the area. We even ventured deep into the forest, where we were the only group around. It was a surreal experience that truly made us appreciate the beauty of nature. At the end of the day, we spent the night in a house nestled among the forest. It was a cozy and warm space that allowed us to rest and recharge after a long day of trekking. We had a lot of fun playing games and talking with each other, and we truly felt like we were part of the community. On day two, Chili led us on a different route back to the homestay. Along the way, we were once again treated to stunning views of the natural beauty of Sapa. It was truly an unforgettable experience that I would highly recommend to anyone who visits the area. Overall, the Buffalo Trek in Sapa was a life-changing experience that allowed us to connect with nature and appreciate the beauty of the world around us. I cannot thank Chili enough for her expertise and guidance throughout the trek. If you have the chance to take part in this trek, I highly recommend it.

Llegamos a Sapa el 17 de agosto a las 5am. Previamente habíamos hablado con la dueña para hacer early check-in (con un sobrecoste). Nos aseguró que cuando llegásemos podíamos decidir si entrar antes o no, pero llegamos y no tenía habitación libre así que habló con el hotel de al lado y nos dejaron quedarnos en una de sus habitaciones. A lo largo de la mañana nos dan la habitación. Para empezar el sumidero del lavabo estaba roto y el agua se salía al suelo de baño. Lo decimos en recepción y nos dicen que lo van a arreglar. Cuando volvemos por la noche esta todo el suelo del baño con agua sin haberlo limpiado ni haberlo arreglado. Además, cuando vamos a dormir observamos que hay 2 gusanos encima de la colcha y otros varios repartidos por la habitación. Bajamos a recepción y nos mandan a una chica a que nos cambie las sábanas pero le contestamos que la habitación está llena de gusanos y que nos queremos cambiar. Sube la dueña, aplasta los gusanos y nos dice que no pasa nada, que son inofensivos. Finalmente conseguimos que nos den otra habitación (de categoría inferior, pues ni siquiera tenía ventanas a la calle). La dueña del hotel no para de repetirme ‘cancel booking’ porque no quiere que escriba esta reseña. A la mañana siguiente cuando hacemos el check out me dice otra vez que cancelemos la reserva. A lo que yo le contesto que si cancela la reserva no la iba a pagar, así que me pide que no ponga ninguna opinión en booking. Al final nos hace un descuento por las molestias y por el cambio de habitación a una inferior y nos vamos. Hoy (1 día después de volver) encuentro que ha cancelado la reserva como si no hubiéramos ido allí cuando no es verdad. Tengo hasta un vídeo corroborando los gusanos. Una vergüenza de sitio. Está todo sucísimo, lleno de mosquitos porque las ventanas no cierran bien y todo húmedo porque no se puede ni ventilar. ¡Cero recomendable!

Its a family run hotel facing the sapa lake. Check in was fast and easy. We booked a ”Superior Triple Room” with lake view and we got the room on 4th floor facing the beautiful lakeview.

It's often written that family -run hotels/hostels in Vietnam are poorly run. This is NOT the case with Fancy Sapa Hostel 2. It is properly managed - clean, has good electrical bedwarmers, acceptable internet speed and they provide a regular change of towels and bedsheets.It is also competitively priced. The staff are friendly. The host couple deserve special mention. They were warm friendly and responsive.

The staff were beyond friendly & helpful. They were able to book me a 2 day 1 night trek of Sa Pa upon my arrival. The trek was beautiful, guide was lively & homestay was safe and clean. The food at the Saigonese Trekking House was delicious. After arriving back from the trek, the gave me a beverage if my choice, pancakes for free and a lovely foot soak. The dorms are clean and have ample storage room. The bathroom is located downstairs & outside however, sandals are provided. There is shampoo & shower gel provided in showers also. Overall, I was happy with my stay here. It was as advertised and more :)
