the hotel was super nice, beautiful hotel especially price/ quality. We spent a long weekend for my birthday. The staff was super nice and friendly. It was probably the best breakfast buffet I ever had. the pool was amazing. We had a room on with a view on the pool. The room was ok. Overall it was a very nice stay at Movenpick Marrakech. The hotel is located in Hivernage, to walk to the medina is approximately max 30 min. by taxi 5 min.

If you come to Marrakesch, stay at least, for a day in Riad! I loved the vintage feel to it. The room was much smaller than the pictures suggested. Otherwise, the staff was always friendly and helpful. I'm really thankful for that! You can cool off at the little pool, read some books or simply enjoy the quietness from the bustling streets of Marrakesch. The Riad is only a ”minute” from the Medina. If I come back. I'll book again, but a bigger room next time!

We had a great stay. Clean and nice room with comfy bed. Breakfast by the pool was great. Staffs were nice and friendly especially the door gentleman! Check-in was a bit of a pain as it took ages (lack of staff when i arrived)… we needed to rest badly but had to wait for like 20 mins. Lifts are very old and slow but luckily there wasn’t many guests so it wasn’t a burden. Ingeneral i think it was a good value hotel. We would come back!

We stayed at hotel chems from the 31st of December for six consecutive days for the new year. This was my second time in Marrakech but my mum's first time. The location is second to none within a few minutes walk to the square and also many other local attractions. On arrival we were told that we needed to check in from 3:00 p.m. we'd got there early but were able to drop off our bags and then go out exploring. The hotel itself is a little outdated, however it is very clean. Staff are very good, welcoming and attentive, room sizes good and price good. Bedrooms made up everyday, towels changed, cleaned throughout. Pool towels available for free at pool. We stopped between December and January, that is a very good size pool approximately 25 m. However it is very cold but still accessible plenty of seating areas for drinks and snacks. There are plenty of sun lounges around the poolside as well as in the grass area. Breakfast is served daily which is included within the cost and there was ample choice a selection of eggs, Cereals, yogurts a little fruit, many pastries, etc. The hotel also has a snack bar and does offer evening meals. We did not take any evening meals here. We did have snacks during the day. Things like salads, pizzas, burgers, etc. The food was good. As the hotel was very close to the local area, we were able to walk although it was close to a taxi rank. If you should need this. Within 1 minute walk to Koutobia mosque, then about 5 mins to jem so fnaa square, Cyber park short walk ( nice to visit) near royal mansour Marrakech, Around 40 mins walk is the beautiful menara :) There is also complex artisan is about 10 minutes walk maximum full of things to buy As you come out of the hotel grounds, if you do a left you will find a park on the left hand side ( Koutobia). You can walk straight through this to the main road to take a shorter route to places. There is plenty of opportunities for walking and running. It is very safe to run alone. When we were there the sunrose at about 8:00 to 8:30 a.m. and the mornings were cool. During the daytime, you can expect temperatures of around 18° c in December and January plenty warm enough if you are from England. We had a walking tour that I arranged before we went through TripAdvisor. It was very good. We also booked the waterfalls trip. This was okay. I also took a hot air balloon trip which was amazing. All of these were booked online instead of at the hotel. There was no particular reason not to book at the hotel. I just didn't realise that there was somebody on site to do this before travelling. The reception is manned 24 hours, 7 days a week. On New year's Eve, we was welcomed with a show and dinner from 7:30 p.m. full entertainment and several courses for a meal and drinks. This was all inclusive even though we was on a bed and breakfast basis. We had no idea that this was going to happen. It was a lovely surprise. The entertainment was fun. Most of the ho

The location is great, everything is nice and neat without going into luxury (which is to be expected for the price point), the staff is also super helpful plus the included breakfast is a nice touch (during my stay it was coffee/tea/orange juice with bread/pancakes and honey/jam/butter) - together with the tours that you can book directly (I also had a great experience with the driver and the guide) makes it so you have few things to worry about during your stay. The bathroom set-up is also clean and well put together which is a huge plus. Loved the terraces as well. Absolutely recommended.

We recently stayed at Oudaya Hotel my cousin and me, the staff are exceptional, from the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality, the reception staff(houcine) was really helpful providing us with all the information we needed during our stay. The waiters in the restaurant were attentive and friendly (Soukaina, hassan....). While the experience was mostly positive, there were some aspects that left a sour taste like , we witnessed the boss speaking rudely to staff members in front of guests, which was uncomfortable. Overall i would recommend Oudaya Hotel for its wonderful staff, and comfortable stay! Fatima & Aisha

Superbe hotel Bien placé et très bien fréquenté. Chambre spacieuse, Propreté irréprochable , literie confortable. Un accueil qui vous fait sentir comme chez vous, personnel très gentil et serviable. Une pensée pour Kenza à la réception qui a vraiment été adorable et à l’écoute de la moindre demande. Piscine sur le rooftop très appréciée. J’y retournerai les yeux fermés

We booked for a 3 night stay for 3 people but had to manage a room for 2, for the first 2 nights. No apologies whatsoever from the hotel nor a compensation. The 2 rooms we stayed in during our stay were both badly lit; make up for nights out was a huddle cos the room was quite dark. A great highlight however is the amazing location and fresh flowers in the lobby that oozed amazing scents.

Returned again to Qodwa. Superb authentic very pleasant Riad. Staff friendly and menu good. Now has two pools in beautiful gardens with plenty of peacocks roaming. I have read some poor reviews but Riads are not EU hotels. It’s clear some uneducated travellers expect too much especially for the price offered. A great place

We looked at so many options of riads for our stay in Imlil and I am so glad that we chose this one! Incredible hospitality and the staff goes above and beyond. The views from the terraces are incredible. The included breakfast is very good. They allowed us to leave our bags here when we did our overnight of Toubkal and even let us do our laundry before we left. It’s a great location with an easy 5 minute walk to shops, restaurants, etc. I honestly can’t say enough about how helpful and amazing the staff are. Highly recommend staying here while in Imlil!

Wonderful hotel with great service from the staff, it felt like they actually care about making your stay great. Room service is around multiple times to replenish items. The best place in my 2 weeks in the country. Beach is right in front, decent gym and heated indoor pool, short walk to the markets. Outdoor pool isn't heated and was a bit cold to swim in Dec. I enjoyed the breakfast, some interesting items like banana jam. Thank you all. 😊

This hotel is excellent. Melike, from reception, is the sweetest girl ever and she accomodated us quickly and super nicely. She helped us with directions and she is super calm and funny. Her English is also amazing! Everything in this hotel was to the highest standards: the room, the cleaningness, the food, the service. The beds were super clean and amazingly comfortable. The cotton was super soft and I checked the brand of the pillow and sheets as they were so soft and super nice. They are from a brand that is made in Morocco: La Maison de Blanc. I wanna go back and go to this shop now, as I just wanted to sleep and sleep when I was there. I never rested so well in my entire life. Also the shower was fantastic! Clean, perfect pressure, always 100 perfect temperature, big shower at the top and normal shower under. The gel smelled nice... I mean, there was not a single defect in that room! The breakfast is super complete. You have got it all! Natural orange juice, excellent coffee, pastries, eggs... There is always a super smiley girl making omelettes or eggs to your taste. The guys in the breakfast room are super kind as well, very professional. We will definitely come back again. The hotel has super nice rooms looking at the sea and the sunsets from the hotel over the island of Mogador are out of this world! Also, the distance to the medina is just perfect. We didn´t want to be in a Riad this time, as they are a bit dirty, so we wanted a proper hotel. I want to come back already! And will come back to Hotel Cote Ocean Mogador! Oh Also, I noticed that if you rent a car there is a space to park!

Unglaublich schöner Innenhof mit Blick in den blauen Himmel mit 3 Galerien. Hier gibt’s einfaches Frühstück. Kaffee mit Heißer Milch und 2 typische marrokanische “Pfannkuchen” oder so etwas ähnliches und frisch gepressten Orangensaft. Honig, Marmeladen und Butter darf man sich selbst nehmen. Es gibt noch grüne Oliven, Tomaten u Gurken u gekochte Eier. Es gibt in einem 2ten Innenhof ein Restaurant mit offenem Kamin. Abends Ende März ist es trotzdem irgendwie schön am Feuer zu sitzen. Essen ist gut, auch der marrokanische Wein ist zu empfehlen. Auf dem Dach des Hotels kann man sich auf einfachen Loungesessel im Schatten entspannen oder auf Liegen Sonnenbaden. Die Lage ist unweit vom Südlichen Tor und perfekt gelegen. Der Charme des Hotels ist sein altes Gebäude. Dementsprechend sind aber auch, die in Neubauten standardmäßig angebotenen Ausstattungen wie Fernseher oder Klima, oft nicht mit dabei. Einfache Zimmer mit Kleinem Schrank, Tisch und Couch, Ablage und eine große Matratze. Einige Zimmer liegen nicht zur Gasse, sondern zum den Innenhöfen. Trotz hölzernen Flügelfenster und Tür teilweise nicht so hell. Das Bad spartanisch mit Toilette und Waschbecken + Dusche; jedoch bei mir ohne Duschvorhang. Durch einige Tagesausflügler aus Marrakesch teilweise auch nachts und sehr früh nicht zu überhörende Abreisende. Mir war der Flair wichtiger, als der für mich normalerweise gewohnte Luxus, den ich sonst auf Geschäftsreisen einfordere. Als Bayer kenne ich das Glockenläuten der Kirchturmuhr; hier ruft der Muezzin bei Sonnenaufgang zum 1.mal relativ leise und dann noch 4 x bis Sonnenuntergang.

The location is great, within minutes from the port and beach and inside the medina. The room was spotless and all amenities needed were thought off. Lovely riad inside the Medina but also very close to the bus station. Decoration could be a bit updated but we definitely have the charm of a riad. I would have prefer to be able to go in and out without knocking at main the door entrance each team but I guess it’s for safety reasons. Breakfast is not crazy but not bad and in winter the turn on the fireplace wich make a very nice vibe. Staff is discret but friendly
