La Pedrera – Casa Milà

It takes about one night to confirm the ticket. The general experience of booking the ticket is ok. Remember to book in advance to reserve an early time slot so the rooftop will have fewer people. The design of the house is absolutely amazing! Can't believe this is done in the 19s. It takes about 20 years to finish. The rooftop is very igable. The inside of the house is a less attractive but the exhibition of the idea of casa mila worth to stop by.

Casa Milà, popularly known as La Pedrera (meaning “stone quarry” in Catalan), is Antoni Gaudí’s last civil work, which he started in 1906 and finished in 1912. Although Antoni Gaudí was particularly well known for his modernist phase, this work is considered “modern”. Included in the World Heritage List in 1984, along with Park Güell and Palau Güell, it was one of the first places of the industrial era to be added to the list of the most exceptional sites in the world. Its nickname, “La Pedrera”, refers to its external appearance, where stone has been used as a key material for the design of the façade and the balconies

A visit to the best place. The Mira House was uncommon at first, not just some decorative artwork. After entering the attic and rooftop, it immediately felt incredible. The "alien invasion of the sky and the outside guests" was eye-opening.

A Gaudi masterpiece and a must visit place when you are in Barcelona. Walking around the rooftop terrace is such a unique experience with it's iconic chimneys.Tips: plan your trip ahead and visit just before sunset to experience the best panoramic views of Barcelona.

La Pedrera, is UNESCO World Heritage Site and a masterpiece of architect Antoni Gaudí. I really like how he designed the building.
