"Must visit. Did a day trip from El Calafate to Torres del Paine. Felt like we stepped into a painting with a filter. I didn't realise such colours could exist naturally. Would visit again but complete a trek."
    Torres del Paine
41.7 km from downtown Torres del Paine
Highlights: Torres del Paine National Park is located in southern Chile and was once selected by National Geographic as one of the "50 must-see places in a lifetime". It is famous for its beautiful lakes, numerous glaciers and soaring granite peaks. The park is also translated as Qingta National Park, and the word "Paine" comes from the Indian word for "blue", named because the entire national park is surrounded by blue glacial fjords and lake landscapes. The main attractions in the park include Torre Tower, Cape Torre, Nordenskjöld Glacier Lake, etc., as well as LagoGrey&GlacierGrey where you can see icebergs. Torres del Paine National Park is located in the transition zone between the Magellan sub-polar forest and the Patagonian steppe, so its biodiversity level is very high. The park is home to more than two hundred species of plants and consists of four vegetation zones: Patagonian Steppe, Pre-Andean scrubland, Magellanic subterranean forest, and Andean desert. In addition, the park is also known for the protection of wild animal species, which are home to many rare species such as scorpions, cougars, red foxes, and more.

Highlights: The mountain is 230 meters high and is a conical hill, and now it is a delicate and unique garden built on the mountain. At the entrance at the foot of the mountain, there is a dark red ancient Greek Athenian-style white cloud porch, and there are simple and vigorous giant murals on both sides of the porch. Nearby stands a statue of a hero of the Indian war against colonial rule. Circling up the curved stone steps, there are ancient churches built in 1874 and cacti in different shapes.

"The weapons square in Santiago, the capital of Chile, was a bit scary to see the Raiders before going there. It was said that there were riots, thieves, robberies, etc., so I was very cautious. I said that the mobile phone and camera could not be exposed. It made our hearts panic. When we got there, it was really the mobile phone that we didn’t dare to take it out. Seeing that the church is very beautiful, took out a photo and quickly collected the pocket. Later, we entered the church and circled the square, and it didn't feel as terrible as it was written on the Internet! Then I saw that there was someone on the balcony of the museum next to it. We also went in. The museum is free, but the bag needs to be stored. You can use the kind of locker that looks like a dollar coin to store by yourself. Go upstairs and there is a room that can climb to the balcony of the clock tower on the top floor. But you need to wait for it to be about 20 minutes, and you can take a group of about 6 people at a time, because the stairs are very narrow and can only be passed by one person. When you get to the top, you can take the last picture overlooking the church. It feels good."

Highlights: The Plaza de Armas is located in the downtown area of Santiago, the capital of Chile. As early as when Santiago was founded in 1541, Valdivia ordered the construction of the Plaza de Armas in the center of the city. Today, the square with a long history of nearly half a century is a good place for local citizens to relax and entertain, as well as a good place for tourists to visit.

Highlights: It was originally built as the first residence in Santiago, the private residence of the Spanish conquistador Pedro de Valtivia. During the colonial period, it was the residence of successive governors. From Chile's independence in 1810 to 1846, it was the presidential residence; after 1846, the government office and the presidential residence were moved to LaMoneda Palace, the presidential palace. The building caught fire shortly thereafter, but several walls survived the disaster and still stand. It was converted into a neoclassical building in 1882 by architect Ricardo Brown - the predecessor of the Central Post Office Building. In 1908, to celebrate the centenary of Chile's independence, architect Ramon Feherman added a third floor in French neoclassical style to the Central Post Office, and added a dome. Now the building is used for the Central Post Office, and there is a postal museum on the second floor of the post office.

"Arrange for visitors to Easter Island to start a 4-day 3-night tour. Recommend if you can only watch one Moai stone statue, you must choose Ahu Tongariki, this is the most spectacular, famous and representative stone statue on the island. The 15 stone statues here are different in height, fat and thin, each of which is unique, and perhaps beautifully restores the image characteristics of the Aboriginal people. In addition to the advantages of scale, the Ahu Tongariki in the east of Easter Island is still the best place to watch the sunrise and starry sky, none of them. When the morning light passes through the gap between the stone statues and casts their shadows into the distance, the shock of this moment is unspeakable and must be immersed in the situation to feel it."

"The Lanora Raku quarry was discovered by archaeologists as a source of stone for the entire Easter Island stone statue. There are many traces of rock excavated and semi-finished stone statues, which can be found in the process of making these statues, full of mystery and primitive power."
    Easter Island
8 km from downtown Easter Island
Highlights: The Rano Lalaku Quarry is a famous symbol of Easter Island and a factory for the production of giant statues (moai). Huge statues are scattered on the slopes on the inside and outside of the volcano, and there are many stone statues that are believed to have been abandoned in various manufacturing processes. Some of the stones still have chisel marks, and they are connected to the rocks of the mountain to maintain an upright posture, and some lie on the road leading to the stone platform. Half of the giant stone statue (moai) here is carved, and the other half is buried in the ground. The stone materials for the statues are collected from the extinct volcanoes here. Among the 600 stone statues, the larger one is 21 meters high. The extinct crater has a tranquil lake and a 360-degree Roman-style viewing platform to enjoy the surrounding scenery.
