Jamma Masjid

I sat in the local tricycle early in the morning. I thought I was wrong at the door. There was no momentum of sightseeing. After taking off my shoes, I saw a shocking building. Although it was dilapidated, I could see the luxury at the time. Hundreds of pillars support the sky large and small, a row of neat hanging dilapidated fans, floor carpet, this is for the believer to pray. Suddenly the brain flashed the picture of the worshipful believers gathered...

There are around 11 Jama Masjids, located in different cites of India like Delhi, Bhopal, Ahmedabad, Aurangabad, Agra, Mathura, etc. However the Jama Masjid of Ahmedabad is unique in its Architecture, having mix of Islamic and traditional Hindu architectural elements. Built in 1424 by Ahmed Shah 1, it is one of the structures that helped Ahmedabad gain the status of India's first UNESCO World Heritage City. It is open for all and doesn't charge any entry ticket. The entry gates are not so pronounced. So, if you're planning to visit you should ask someone or you may miss it among the crowd & the busy shops.

This mosque is famous in the local area, there are many people, India is a Buddhist country, it is not surprising that there is such a majestic mosque.
