It is the only wooden Orthodox church in the early twentieth century and one of the cultural buildings of Kazakhstan. The bright yellow facade of the church is particularly striking and distinctive among the green trees. The church consists of two parts: the altar and the sacrament collection room. The church was later structurally remodeled, so survived the 1911 magnitude 11 earthquake, even with the glass intact, only the iron cross of the bell tower appeared to bend at a 180 degree angle
The Panfilov Park 28 Warriors Memorial Park commemorates the heroes of the 316th Division 16 Regiment, 28 of them soldiers from Almaty, who died in the 1941 war against the Nazis. The 30th anniversary of the victory of the Patriotic War was celebrated with a glorious monument and a Changming Fire Station. The park is sacred and solemn, and the sculptures are lifelike. During the festival and memorial days, many people will lay flowers in front of the monument to remember the martyrs.
