What did the Romans do for us
it was brilliant to see the stone laid out as the living quarters actually were it made the sense of history really come alive and the information on the boards was done well

Half of the fort is still under the grass why can’t it be fully excavated , plus it’s not advertised in the town no signs ! We don’t make the most of the history of this country
It’s amazing to think what it used to be, there isn’t much left on the site now. It’s worth a look and free to enter. Run by the national trust if you are walking to waterhead, wander over.
