The village committee is located in Daxi. 9 streams in the territory merge into Daxi, the village is named after the stream. The Qing Dynasty belonged to Fuyu Township, Xiaofeng County. Nanyu Township in 1949, Daxi Township in spring 1950. Daxi High-level Agricultural and Forestry Production Cooperative was established in 1957. When Xiaofeng County was merged into Anji County in November 1958, it was the Daxi Production Team of Qingshan People's Commune. In 1961, it was the Daxi Production Team of Shanhe People's Commune. In 1984, it was renamed Daxi Village, which belongs to Shanhe Township. In 1992, it was Tianhuangping Town.
