Arriving in the morning, I began exploring the vast ruins of the Old Summer Palace, marveling at the remnants of Western-style stone structures and ornate Chinese pavilions. Walking through the picturesque gardens, I enjoyed the serene lakes and winding pathways, capturing the essence of its former grandeur. I visited the stunning lotus ponds and crossed elegant bridges.
