Collection Scharf-Gerstenberg

This is the art gallery used by the Schalf Foundation to display its own collection. It is part of the National Gallery in Berlin. It has paintings, sketches and sculptures. From French Romanticism to Surrealism, the collection is rich.

There are oil paintings and sculptures collected by Otto Gerstenberg. Gerstenberg is a German collector. His collection suffered a lot during the war. Part of it was destroyed by the war and part was confiscated by the Soviet Union. Later, he donated the rest to exhibition. Among them are paintings by famous artists such as Picasso, Goya and Manet.
