Future expansion plans will make this road a unique walking route and a welcoming place for the community (and our visitors). At present, a viaduct is within walking distance of1/2 miles, but beyond this range we can see its expansion potential. The roadmap for the future shows that this will be great! During this time, it was a great place to watch seals coming in from the seal hatchery, fishermen lined up, owners and dogs strolling through the fresh air, hikers/walkers sitting on benches to get a better view, and it was all in the other part of the Carlsbad Boulevard Bridge. One side! (The ocean is just above the entrance). We peeked inside the fence around the fishing grounds and saw different fish tanks (assuming so), putting the frying in to maturity before letting go. On this walk, we did not explore the center, but focused on the beauty of nature.
