Immediately after entering the aquatic botanical garden near Jindaiji Temple, you will get off at a small slope to the right. In the middle of the slope, there was a soba field in a local elementary school. The castle ruins were pleasant with beautiful green lawns.

It is the site of the castle building in the early Sengoku period, which is left in a small mountain on the south side of the ancient temple Jindaiji Temple (about 50m above sea level). Enter from the gate of the aquatic botanical garden and go up the mountain road. This is the place where Mr. Ogitani Uesugi, who was competing for hegemony in the southern Kanto region with Mr. Odawara Hojo, restored the remains of the castle owner unknown, which was originally located here, and used it as a pre-defense base against Mr. Hojo. In the end, the Uesugi side was directly attacked by Mr. Hojo by Kawagoe Castle, his home base, and lost and followed the road of disappearance, so Jindaiji Castle was abandoned. ...
