Fotu Tower

Dali Buddha Temple tower is local by the popular name of the snake bone tower, from the Bai folk spread the story of "Bai hero Duan Chicheng Shehe Decapitated". Located in front of the Buddha Temple on the north side of Yangping Village, Xiaguan Town, Dali City, it is located at the Xieyang Peak of Dali Cangshan Mountain, adjacent to Yangnan Creek to the north, three kilometers from Xiaguan to the south, and about 500 meters from the 214 National Road to the east. The tower is30.7 meters high, a 13-level dense square brick tower, and the tower base is a two-story square base. In 2006, it was announced by the State Council as the sixth batch of key cultural relics protection units nationwide. The Buddha Tu Temple tower was built in the period of Nanxun Quan Fengyou, and its shape is the same as that of the Qianxun Tower of Chongsheng Temple.

The tower is quaint in shape and has a typical Tang Dynasty pagoda style. The four-sided brick Buddha is stored in the Buddha statue, and the tower has a bronze gourd-shaped treasure. The whole building is similar to the Dali Qianxun Pagoda, which is a building in the Nanxun period of the Tang Dynasty.
